What do you think of subconscious mind altering our reality?

January 19, 2012 - 1:57 am 1 Comment

I am asking about visualisation technique, auto suggestion, law of attraction etc.
People claim to have realised their dreams and overcome their odds by supposedly programming the subconscious mind.
Is it true?
Nonetheless, our thoughts can influence our moods and cause certain events. But altering the life and achieving great goals are influenced by many factors. So, how true is the notion of subconscious mind controlling our life?
How much is true?
Please share if you actually have any experience.

Thank you all.

I think it only can happen when you are asleep.
No one can alter their subconscious mind.
But a few people do go by what their dreams tell them.
Most times it doesn’t work as planned.

Can you train your subconscious mind to process information in a useful manner?

December 12, 2011 - 10:24 pm 4 Comments

Apparently your conscious mind processes a LOT less information. Can you train your subconscious to be useful to tasks at hand? Like math, reading, etc.

How could you do this?

Or is it that you have to train yourself to be so good at something that you no longer need your conscious mind to process the information?

May be that’s it…we train ourselves well enough at a task that we memorize the steps, then we know it, and it’s something we don’t forget (if it’s something we use or do all the time) like holding a pencil.
I like to draw, my mind remembers by seeing a picture- a snapshot. Do I subconciously know how to draw? At 3 I started and never looked back, it was so natural…what taught me? What teaches anyone? I believe we all have God given gifts of all shapes and sizes, and somewhere within us is the capacity to know far more than we think we already think we know, but don’t really know. Not by a long shot.

Why do people say theta brain waves are gateway to subconscious mind?

August 30, 2011 - 5:54 am 1 Comment

is it true that if you give your subconscious an affirmation in your semi sleep state(thus when
your brain is in theta), your subconscious mind will act on it immediately in reality??in other
words, it will work?

The power of positive thought is very strong. Yes it will work.
Threefold repetition is a good way to feed ideas to the subconscious.

I’m very interested in studying the subconscious mind what should I study in uni?

July 25, 2011 - 3:11 am 1 Comment

I’m very interested in studying the subconscious mind and its effect on human behaviour and emotions. I am only interested in a course as practical as possible, no airy fairy stuff like a lot of stuff that psychology teach as I can simply read a book.

Thank you!

I live in Australia.

Cognitive Science and Cognitive Psychology are really the only two courses I know that would delve into the subject matter, and even then, the information is limited since much more focus is placed on the Conscious Mind. Honestly, it might be better for you to just read books and scholarly journals to learn about that stuff. Or, major in one of the two, and then start doing your own research!

Is my subconscious mind working in the state of deep sleep when I’m not dreaming?

June 13, 2011 - 4:19 am 3 Comments

I’ve read several articles before that says that we get dreams in the state of shallow sleep.. But how come we don’t dream in the deep sleep state when our subconscious mind is supposed to be totally controlling us at this time? Or it stops working when we sleep deeply?! And if it really is working, then what is it doing at this time?

you dream in shallow sleep and in REM sleep there are two forms of REM sleep *REM( u have the most vivid dreams in this state) *NREM( nonREM sleep when ur dreams are confusing and bounce around)
you get ur physical and mental rest when in REM sleep, ur subconscious mind is actually in the background of it all determining ur dream. your dream is a want of ur subconscious mind and dreams are generally about happiness, anger, and sexuality.

REM sleep occurs every 90mins and there are different stages of sleep also everyone dreams everynight whether u remember it or not.

What exactly is the subconscious mind?

April 26, 2011 - 7:52 am 1 Comment

I’ve heard the contents of the subconscious are out of our conscious awareness. Also, what is the difference between the subconscious and the unconscious mind?

The unconscious mind is simply your conscious mind in a state of unconsciousness. The subconscious mind Is the manifestations of the inner workings of the brain. Your values and attitudes are generally stored in the subconscious mind. It is the thinking part of your mind independent of your ego. It finds stored memories and puts together simple calculations for you. It is also the source of instinct. Much of what other people see of your mind is a product of the subconscious.

Would someone with a smaller subconscious but a larger conscious mind be smarter?

April 20, 2011 - 9:30 am 3 Comments

We use about 10% of our brain consciously and somewhere around 70% of our brain is our subconscious.

If we were to have a larger conscious mind but a diminished subconscious mind, would we theoretically be smarter? Or would it impair us?

Know the power of your mind. If just over 50% of your brain believes something, it will become your reality. How? There is the sixth dimension, sideways in time, where there are probability time lines for every possibility. As you increase the percentage of your brain use, it becomes easier and easier to go to the time line where you have what you imagine. The power of the mind is will times imagination, just as sure as force times velocity is power in mechanics. As you increase the percentage of your brain use, your imagination gets stronger and stronger, increasing the power of your mind. There are things that increase the percentage of brain use:
It is said that Jesus "descended into Hell and on the third day arose from the dead". Crucifixion forces what is called today "holotropic breathing". Dr. Stanislav Grof replaced LSD with holotropic breathing. LSD awakens brain use beyond the normal 10% by blocking the inhibitory neurons.

Holotropic breathing, and other muscarinic nervous system stimulations, awaken the brain by overriding the inhibitory neurons. The neurons of the parasympathetic nervous system are called "muscarinic" for their stimuilation overriding the inhibitory neurons like the hallucinary drug muscarine.

The major plexuses are called "chakras" in yoga. Stimulation, called "kundalini" in yoga, spreads in any particular nervous system. In the case of the muscarinic nervous system the stimulation spreads to the brain and there awakens more than 10% brain use.

The biggest muscarinic nerve is the vagus nerve. It doesn’t pass through the spine, but, its main trunk emerges from the brain in the roof of the nasopharynx. Advanced yogins have cut the ligature that holds their tongues down so they can put their tongues up the back of their noses.

This act is called the "khechari mudra", in English, the "fig gesture". This act causes so much vagal stimulation that the heart stops by vagal syncope. The yogin can then stay in suspended animation for any chosen length of time and voluntarily withdraw his tongue to "resurrect".

The blood stays oxygenated during the khechari mudra. Houdini did this in some of his feats. But, with the "water board" of the Gitmo Baptism, the intent is to fill the nasopharynx with water, enough just to put the candidate for initiation into what Dr. Stanislav Grof called "perinatal matrix three. Large doses of LSD were used for the same purpose in the "Clockwork Orange" treatment.

Is there any other Hell? Very often those who resurrected from what seemed to witnesses as death, had a homeopathic reaction from death such that the brain woke up with more than its normal 10% use, so that, this actually "hyperlife" state was called, the world of the dead, the Underworld, Hell, etc.

The mind is very powerful to materialize its visualizations as reality in the Underworld. Can anyone control all their thoughts? Things go wrong. as soon as the candidate wishes he were someone else, "zap" he body switches into that someone else, where he no longer has the more than 10% brain use, and is weak again.

But, he doesn’t belong in anyone elses body, so, as soon as that body sleeps or dies, it’s into another body he goes. And, on and on and on, going backward and forward in time in body after body, into everyone he has ever seen, for about a hundred years duration.

This was called the "aioniu amartematos", an aeon of failure", in the original Greek Bible, translated into English "etenrnal damnation". But, Jesus Christ, being God, body switched into everyone who ever was or ever will be, and on every probability timeline. That’s why He is always in you and I. This is real.

The awakened brain accesses the multidimensional universe that people with only 10% brain use are unaware of. It doesn’t have to be that extreme. Perinatal matrix one is euphoric. In perinatal matrix two, the "Knowledge of Good and Evil", as one goes into this fifth dimensional direction, the brain gets more and more powerful to travel in the sixth dimension to the probability timelines corresponding to imagination.

Dr. Stanislav Grof, in his "Adventure of Self Discovery" said that this was the real sacrament of Baptism, but, it was also what Adam and Eve did with each other, "eating" the fruit of the Knowledge of Good and Evil" that constituted the "original sin" so that the Cathars made this thier sacrament of "Unbaptism".

Other related stimulations are condemned as "witchcraft", called in the Koran "blowing on knots". It’s all how far you go that determines its arbitrary worth to various classes of society. It has been the most suppressed secret in the world. Dr. Grof is the first to get away with making it somewhat public. But, every Christian has the right to understand the crucifixion. It must be common public knowledge for justice.

What makes the subconscious mind so powerful?

March 14, 2011 - 12:16 am 1 Comment

I’ve read about stories where guys who were stuck in a refrigerator van actually froze to death even though it was turned off and at room temperature the whole time. I would like to know what allows the mind to do such things? Does anyone have any leads?

god made us such complex and amazing creatures, some things we just cannot figure out about us. it may take years to find out but that question my friend is out of my reach and out of reach for my mind to grasp.
